Refunds

Students who officially withdraw from the Institute or reduce the number of credits for which they are registered may be entitled to an adjustment of charges or a refund of amounts paid. Any refund or adjustment will be based on the official drop/withdrawal date. Refunds are mailed to the student's permanent address usually within four weeks of the date of notification. Tuition refunds are made according to this schedule during the fall and spring terms:

Less than one week	100%
Less than two weeks	90%
Less than three weeks	80%
Less than four weeks	70%
Less than six weeks	60%
Less than seven weeks	50%
Less than nine weeks	40%
More than nine weeks	0%

Withdrawals must be made through the Dean of Students Office. Activity and health fees are nonrefundable except where withdrawal is made prior to the opening day of the semester.
